S&C's culture and policies value the unique abilities and perspectives of every individual and support diversity in its broadest sense, including race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability and religious affiliation.

The Firm’s Diversity Committee plays an active role in coordinating with practice group leaders, Firm committees and internal departments to support this initiative. The Diversity Committee also has a mandate to continually improve the effectiveness of Firm programs to attract, mentor, retain and assist in the advancement of our minority and women lawyers.

Our Diversity Management Department, led by Special Counsel and Director of Diversity Alphonzo Grant, is charged with developing, implementing and coordinating diversity and inclusion initiatives, events and programs.
