Anheuser Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world’s largest brewing company, will become a Worldwide Olympic Partner through 2028 and Corona Cero zero-alcohol beer will be the global beer sponsor of the Olympic Games. This marks the first beer sponsorship for the Olympics at the Worldwide Olympic Partner level. AB InBev will be a global sponsor of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
AB InBev owns and operates more than 500 beer brands and more than 100 facilities, including breweries, wholesaler distribution centers, agricultural facilities and packaging plants. AB InBev’s beer brands include Budweiser, Corona, Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra, Becks, Hoegaarden and Leffe, as well as other regional brands.
This transaction is the latest in the Firm’s decades-long relationship with AB InBev and its predecessor companies, including the 2021 $3 billion sale of container production plants, 2019 Hong Kong IPO of Budweiser APAC, 2018’s $10 billion public offering and 2016’s merger with SABMiller.
