S&C Hosts Podcast on Regulation of U.S. Operations of Non-U.S. Banks

On December 18, Mr. Cohen, Mr. Eitel, Mr. Gladin, Ms. Simmons, Ms. Tokheim, Mr. Welshimer and Mr. Wiseman presented the podcast “Discussion and Analysis of the Federal Reserve’s Proposed Rules on Enhanced Prudential Standards and Early Remediation Requirements for Foreign Banking Organizations Operating in the United States.” The podcast briefing provided an update on the proposed rule, released on Friday, December 14 by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, to implement heightened prudential standards and early remediation requirements for foreign banking organizations with U.S. operations, as required under Sections 165 and 166 of the Dodd-Frank Act.
