December 14, 2016

On December 14, Donald Korb was part of a panel presentation at the Tax Executives Institute New York Chapter’s Annual Tax Symposium on “A New World: BEPS and Section 385.” Donald focused on the Section 385 “debt/equity” regulations, including discussing the various ways they might be repealed or rescinded by the Congress under the Congressional Review Act or the Trump Administration under the APA Notice and Consent process. Don’s presentation was featured in a Tax Notes article that appeared the next day, "The Fate of the Debt-Equity Regulations and State Taxes" by Lee Sheppard.
